"We had a lovely stay in Boatcrew West Cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It is an historic building which in itself is an experience. The fittings and decor are basic but comfortable and functional. The grounds are immaculate and it was very quiet and relaxing during our stay. There are some beautiful beaches nearby to explore and a rich history to delve into."

We discovered dirty, unwashed dishes left in the oven, which we had to clean ourselves before using. The biggest let down was the bathroom – during our entire two-day stay, the shower drainage was completely blocked.
